Saws.-In a frame saw of the kind wherein the saw blade is stretched between arms projecting from a bridge or back member, one of the arms being angularly adjustable to vary the tension, the back member is curved towards the blade and connected at a point between its ends by a toggle device to a rearward extension of the pivoted arm. The arm g is pivoted at h to one end of the curved back a and the arm k has a sleeve i adjustable on the other end of the back. An extension of the arm g is connected by a link d to a lever b pivoted to the back at c.
