Endless-chain conveyers with platform carriers; guiding.-In endless chain tray conveyers particularly for use in the manufacture of chocolate, the side members 5a, Fig. 5, of each tray carriage 5 are provided in the transverse central plane with vertically disposed slots 5b through. which pass spindles 5<c>, Fig. 4, arranged transversely across the conveyer between the links of the chain. Rollers 6, 7 at opposite corners of a carriage travel upon guideways 8 and cam tracks 9, 10. The cam track 9a guides the leading roller 6 of each tray carriage into a slot having a semicircular end 9<b> which acts as a pivotal housing, while the carriage is moved from its upwardly tilted position through the horizontal to an oppositely tilted position in which the following roller 7 becomes the leading roller. The tray carriages may be vibrated independently of the chains by passing over a vibrating table.
