Abstract

290,416. Pescara, R. P. April 2, 1927. Valves, arrangement of.-A direct-acting compressor is maintained under a certain load under all reservoir pressures by providing in the passage leading to the reservoir a valve 17 automatically loaded to remain closed until the air which has passed through the delivery valve 13 has reached a certain pressure. The loading is effected by compressed air delivered through a pipe 23 to a piston carried by the valve stem.
