Abstract

290,196. Valeri, O. April 25, 1928. [A Specification was laid open to inspection under Sect. 91 of the Acts, May 10, 1928]. Sleepers, composite. - Rails' are secured to reinforced-concrete pot sleepers by iron stirrups 2 embedded flush and apertured to receive the bolts 8, the stirrups extending to near the base of the sleeper to permit removal. The nuts engage the sides of the stirrup, the space 3 being left open for at least half the depth of the sleeper to give access to the nuts and provide resiliency. The floor 4 of the space 3 slopes for drainage.
