Abstract

Interlocking-apparatus .-The track lever or track-signal lever is arranged to be released electrically as soon as a shunting train has passed the first set of points in the set track provided that other points in the track, which are not yet run over, are in their locked position. At each points a relay R1 - - R4 is connected across the rails and controls a contact K1, K8, K9, K10, respectively in the circuits of the lever-lock magnet F and the relays Z2, Z3, Z4. Relays Z2, Z3, Z4 control the points-locking means 02, 03, 04 of the points W2, W3, W4, and each has a second circuit over its own armature which is closed by a contact on the relative signal when at danger. Thus when shunting is done while the signal is at danger, the relays Z2, Z3, Z4 are not de-energized. Contacts K3, K4 closed by the locking elements are in series in the circuit of the track-lever locking magnet F with the contact K1 which is closed by the falling off and resetting of the armature of the relay R1 by means of an auxiliary relay in the manner described in Specification 272,156.
