Abstract

288,800. Tipton, (nÚe Sibley), E. S. March 23, 1927. Fittings, internal. -- A vanity case comprises a main container 1 traversed by a number of tubular members open at each end, the ends being closed by members adapted to carry beauty accessories. As shown the container 1 has hinged lids 19, 20 on its opposite faces and the tubular members 2, 3 are closed by tubular sockets 4 - - 7 having flanged heads 8a, the inwardly directed tubular portions 8 of the sockets may carry a container for face powder, a double compartment container for rouge and a substance for tinting the eyelashes &c., a container for perfume, a holder for a lip-stick and eye-brow pencil, and a container for an eye-brow brush. The inside of each of the lids 19, 20 may be provided with a mirror and the spaces, 16, 17 between the lids and the members 2, 3 serve to receive respectively a cake of face powder and a puff 22 and a cake of rouge- and a puff 24.
