Dust-bins, washing.-A support 34 for a dustbin is movable on guides in a vessel 14 so that the bin may be brought into a position where it is washed by water under pressure. The interior of the bin is washed by liquid issuing from jets 11, 12 in a pipe 10. Four spray pipes are .located about the exterior of the bin. The hinged lid 2, which is opened by lever and link mechanism, is located, when being washed, in a recess 15 in the ve'ssel 14 and cleaned by means of spray pipes 17, 18.
