Abstract

285,918. Lemoine, (nÚe Trouillet), R. M. L. Feb. 25, 1927, [Convention date]. Air-pressure sprayers. - An atomizing head comprises a needle valve 17 for controlling the liquid supply, axially bored at 19 for the passage of the atomizing fluid, and a centrally perforated cap 10 having an internally coned seating 13 for the valve by which liquid through the passage 7 coaxial with the passage 19 is regulated. The needle valve may be fixed and the cap movable or vice versa, the whole being mounted to form a unit which may be easily dismantled for cleaning. In Fig. 1 the hollow needle valve 17 screws into a tubular body 1 secured in the wall of a liquid container 3 by a nut 5. A tubular threaded part of the cap 10 screws into the bore 7 by which the liquid passage may be closed. Liquid is supplied to the passage 7 by a dipping tube 22 mounted in a lateral passage in the body and regulation effected by turning a knurled head 16 in the needle valve.
