Fuel containers.- Screwed sockets for receiving the bolts by which a tank is mounted on a motor cycle are provided with a stem 1 protruding into the tank and with a conical head 3 received in a conical seating in the tank wall. The stem has a conical part 10 to facilitate securing by soldering &c. and the seatings are formed in transverse grooves or ribs 5.
