Leggings. - A legging comprises an unshaped sleeve a of waterproof material adapted to be drawn over the boot or shoe b on to the trousers to extend above the knee and to be tastened by a band c of of elastic which passes around the leg above the knee. An elastic strap d adapted to engage a trouser's button may be such as tapes connecting the leggings and passing over tively, additional supports such as tapes connecting the leggins and passing over the shoulders or provided with hooks adapted to engage the trouser's pockets may be used. A lining of rough fabric or one or more rubber rings with a roughened surface may be also used to support the legging. At the lower end the legging may be hooked to the hoot and lace at the instep. In a modification, the legging may extend to the thigh and be provided with an elastic insert at its upper end. The lower end may be thickened to prevent too great displacement due to rubbing between the two leggings in wear. Ventilation holes may be provided.
