Abstract

Clearing - apparatus for winding and like machines comprises a plate B with a machined face B<7> on a bar B', which may carry rollers, and a plate A mounted between flanges on the plate B and adjustable by means of a screw S, or provided with springs bearing on its upper edge and with a threaded member, so that the clearing-slit formed by its machined lower face A<4> and the face B' is adjustable according to the count of the yarn. As shown, the device is adapted for each end of two fold yarn, but it may be adapted for any other up to, say, six fold. Slots B<8> for leading the yarn are provided. Specification 18085/04 is referred to.
