Seat attachments.-The tension of the springs l, Figs. 1 and 2, of a pillion seat is adjusted by means of a two-armed lever f, g, the short arm g of which is linked to a sliding member k connected to the springs, while the long arm f is actuated by a handle h and is adapted to be fixed in one of a number of positions of adjustment. The free ends of the springs are secured to a bridge-piece n provided with a cross-bar o adapted to fit, for adjustment purposes, in one of two recesses x, y in a rocking lever p, which is pivotally mounted on the underframe a, b and supports the seat top q. The lever f, g is pivoted at e to a cross member c of the underframe, and is provided with a dovetail projection m adapted to engage in similarly-shaped notches 1 - - 4 in a cross member d of the underframe. The member d is marked with the passenger weights corresponding to the notches 1 - -'4 4 for each of the recesses x, y. The bridge-piece n is adapted to engage two fixed stops r to prevent the lever p and seat q from tilting up when the springs l are being adjusted.
