281.167. Steel Barrel Co., Ltd., and Stevens, C. H. May 7, 1927. Tank wagons.-Tanks for wagons and the like for the conveyance of petrol, oil, &c. are provided with corrugations of any design, type or distance apart rolled or pressed circumferentially, longitudinally, diagonally or otherwise and the end and division plates may also be corrugated in any manner. Fig. 1 shows a tank a having corrugations b, d which may be pressed outwardly as shown or inwardly. Provision is made to enable the tank to be drained completely, such provision comprising apertures h, Fig. 6, in the side of the corrugation which is covered by a plate k.
