Refrigerators, domestic.- Cooling-cabinets fitted with refrigerating machines are shaped with a recess 8 in the lower part of one of the sides to accommodate the machine, leaving the whole width of the upper part and the full height of one side of the cabinet available for storage. The generator 10 and condenser and absorber of an absorption machine may be arranged in the recess 8 with the connecting pipes 12 and rectifier 11 embedded in the insulation of one wall 3. The evaporator 9 is as usual located in the upper part of the cabinet.
