Abstract

280,995. Marehant, A. J. Aug. 18, 1926. Pedestal stands. - In a display stand of the kind comprising a base to which a vertical rod is secured, the rod supporting trays &c., which are threaded thereon between distance-pieces and are secured by a nut, the lowermost distancepiece 5 is secured in a recess 8 in the base 1, and the rod 2 is provided with a non-rotatable plate 3 secured in a second recess. A pair of such uprights may be employed to support shelves or in making a shop counter.
