Abstract

199,877. Beasley, W. A. April 22, 1922. Rack stands : brackets, adjusting and securing.- A display stand comprises an upright secured to a 'base a and provided with a series of shelves c, the sides b of the upright being bevelled for wedging engagement with a correspondingly shaped recess provided in each shelf, a nut c<7>, on a screw c' secured to the shelf c and passing through a longitudinal slot b<1> on the upright, securing the shelf in position. Each shelf has a vertical member c<2>, a portion c<5> of which fits snugly in the slot b<1>. In a modification the inner faces of the slot b<1> are bevelled and the shelves are formed with correspondingly bevelled tongues. More than one upright may be provided.
