Rotary machines.-A hand-operated apparatus for printing coloured designs on walls, or on other surfaces, is constructed with two or more printing-rollers 3, supplied with colour by rollers 4, or by reservoirs fitted with strips of felt, the rollers 3, 4 being mounted in a frame, and the rollers 3 being geared together by sprocket or spur gearing preferably adjustably connected to the shafts of the printing-rollers so that the printing-surfaces of the rollers may be set in correct register to print a multi-colour design. The frame in which the rollers is mounted is formed of two forked members 1, 2, connected at their open ends by tie rods 8 engaging sockets 7 on the forked members and forming one handle to operate the device. A handle 20 is connected to the fork 1, and the forks 1, 2 are connected by arms 10 secured by clamps 12 to the fork 1. The sides of the forks 1, 2 can be set at various distances apart to accommodate rollers of different length.
