Chain wheels.-Sprocket-wheels particularly for driving the tracks of endless-track vehicles, carry in side plates a bars d of four or other number of sides and with flat cycloidal, or other curved faces adapted to be engaged by the projections on the chain or track. The bars are passed into holes a in the plates and are formed with grooves e to engage with enlargements b of the holes and are secured in position by surfaces g on bolts f and surfaces i or washers h, which are engaged by nuts k. Rubber or other resilient blocks l engage between the plates a and sockets m in the bolts f to reduce shock. When wear occurs on the surfaces of the bars d, the bars are adjusted so that fresh surfaces may be utilized.
