276,648. Lanhoffer, I. E., and Lanhoffer, E. Aug. 24, 1926, [Convention date]. Addition to 260,221. Pneumatic conveyers.-Air is admitted to each of the chambers or compartments of the feeding device of the parent Specification through elements tightly pressed against one another and permitting the air under pressure to pass between them. Air is supplied through the conduit 24, flows between rings 23 through grooves or channels 25, and issues from the spaces or intervals 26 between two adjacent rings. The Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91 (3) (a), comprises also a Form, Fig. 1, (Cancelled), in which the air issues in the direction of the arrows 13 from between spring leaves 10 which are held together by a screw 14. The leaves are provided with slots 15, Fig. 2 (Cancelled), into which open supply channels 16 leading from ports 12 in the 'supply pipe 11. In a modification the air is admitted between a number of discs pressed one against the other and pierced with holes disposed so that those of one disc are opposite solid areas of the adjacent ones. This subject-matter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
