Flooring-blocks; compound blocks.-A compound flooring-block comprises a surface layer 2 of wood of plain or parquet formation and a base layer 1 of hardened plaster, for example plaster boarding such as gypsum board. The blocks may be laid down in justaposition without fastening means so that the floor can be transferred readily from room to room. Specification 248,829 is referred to.
