The skip during rotation is inverted and on being raised to its original position the liquid drains from the yarn which reached the greatest depth in the tank, through the yarn which was not immersed so deeply. The shaft b is driven through a clutch d<1>, d<2>. a worm e and gearing e<1> - - es. The skips may pass over a roller gravity conveyer to a weighbridge and thence to the frame f, in which they are secured by a lever h. On being released after treatment they may pass out on a further roller gravity conveyer.
