Covered cases made by bending sheet material; straps, strengthening. - A Suit case has three sides e formed of leather &c. reinforced along the top and bottom edges by lengths c, d of strip metal, the fourth side f being composed of threeply wood or other stiff material secured to the bent overlapping ends g of the sides e. The strips c, d overlap the side f and are secured thereto. The top edge of the covering, which may be of waterproof material, is turned down over the reinforcing strip c and secured to the inner surfaces of the sides e, f.
