Abstract

271,736. Littlejohn, C. F. Nov. 8, 1926. Addition to 258,180. Corsets; stiffeners. - The invention of the parent Specification is modified by replacing the pair of steels carrying fastenings co-operating with complementary fastenings on the body of the garment, by a single broad steel 5 carrying both sets of fastenings. The broad steel may extend the whole width of the attachment member and may be provided with a rib 13 pressed along part of its length to increase the rigidity at the lower part. To prevent accidental unlocking of the fastenings a pivoted notched catch 9 may be employed.
