Tubular and like through-way link chains for electroliers, chandeliers, &c., of the kind wherein each link comprises a looped part a terminating in ends a<1> having registering eyes a<2> through which the next similar link is threaded, have lateral flanges provided on the parts a<1> substantially parallel to the plane of the loop a and forming an open hood to accommodate and hide the electric wires or gas tubing crossing over within it. The exterior of the Joop c may be chanelled to acommodate the wires or tubing passing around it. The extreme ends a<3> of the links may be shaped to correspond with the loops in which they engage.
