Abstract

311,049. Baker, S. C. March 19, 1928. Shackles.-A shackle for trawl gear &c. comprises a pair of identically similar U-shaped members 7 having interengaging surfaces at the ends of the arms lying in planes normal to the axis of a pin 11 by which they are secured together. The interemgaging parts may be formed as shown either in Fig. 1 or Fig. 6. The pin may be secured by a nut and lock-nut 20, Fig. 1, or by a screw or split pin.
