Abstract

270,071. Heron, W. E. April 10, 1926. V-slot and like blade sharpeners.-A sharpener for razor &c. blades consists of a piece of steel wire bent to form a straight guide portion 3, a handle 2, and loops 4, 5, which are hardened to sharpen the blade. The loops are bent slightly to form a V between their planes at 6, the blade edge lying in the V during sharpening. In the form of device shown in Fig. G, the guide portion is omitted, the loops 13, 14 being bent slightly to form an external V, whilst portions 16. of the wire form a handle. Specification 16748/02 is referred to.
