Slipping-preventing attachments to wheels. - To prevent side-slip, a ring a. formed in one piece or in connected segments, is fitted at one side of the tyre, the ring being formed of flexible material with fabric insertions b and a facing d of soft material such as sponge rubber. As shown, the band tapers towards the rim where its edge may be clamped between the tyre bead and the rim flange. The inner portion of the band may be secured to the tyre by cold vulcanization or by springs.
