Screw stoppers formed to aid withdrawal.-The top of a screw cap for metal cans &c. intended for containing metal polish &c. is stamped or embossed to produce two parallel ridges 2, 3 or equivalent projections which extend diametrically across the top and are sufficiently spaced apart to receive in the channel 4 between them a coin or other implement adapted to turn the cap. The ridges may be continuous and of rounded form, or they may be constituted by rows of circular projections.
