Abstract

286,170. Dawson, G. Sept. 20, 1927. Cork extractors; stopper-keys and like appliances.-A device for removing the cardboard disc closures from milk bottles &c. comprises a flat metal stamping having an arrowshaped portion 1 for piercing the disc connected by a narrow neck 2 to a flat portion 3 which serves as a handle. The device is given a partial turn after the disc is pierced to secure it therein and may be attached, and the bottle by flexible means to prevent it from becoming lost.
