Treating substances with liquids.-The Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91 (3) (a) states that in spot-dyeing, a cone of yarn may be inserted in a perforated holder 15 Fig. 6 (Cancelled) mounted on a shaft 12a rotated by a pulley 13<a> and belt 14a, a casing 17 provided with a drain-pipe 21 confining the liquid thrown off. The apparatus may be duplicated as shown. The centrifugal force restores the shape of the paper core of the cone if it has been softened by the liquid. This subject-matter does not appear in the Specification as accepted, but forms the subject-matter of Specification 279,121.
