Abstract
268,626. G÷pel, C. Aug. 11, 1926. Depositing machines.-Apparatus for removing pralines from starch moulds comprises an inclined guideway for the moulds associated with a scoop adapted to be lifted to clean the edges of the mould and to be shaken horizontally so as to remove the pralines while returning the powder to the mould. As shown, the mould box 1 is fed down an inclined guide way 2 by an endless band 3 and the pralines are removed by a scoop 4 vibrated by a crank 5. The scoop is lifted through links 11, 9 and lever 10, by a lever 8 engaging the lower mould edges. Powder returns to the mould and the pralines pass on to a conveyer 6 leading to a sieve band 7 having a chamber 20 in which the pralines are freed from powder by air jets 21 associated with supporting brushes 24, preferably in'endless-band form. The mould box passes on to a sector 15 of the guide way 2 which tilts against the action of a counterweight 16 under the weight of the mould and delivers the latter to an endless band 17 associated with a return track.
