As shown, a mould for T-blocks comprises an upper mould portion. b having transverse partitions and end walls furnished with depending portions d adapted to fit into a transverse groove c in the bottom mould portion a. The partitions may be apertured at e to receive a core and converge upwardly to ensure release of the blocks. U or other shaped blocks may be similarly formed.
