Drawing wire.-Drawing-dies are cleaned by the wire being drawn, by imparting to the dies, mounted in a block f a circular motion by coupled eccentrics e, c driven by the drawing-drum shaft. Rollers are mounted on the block f to guide the wires in a true axial direction from the dies, and to cause the wire to reciprocate across the drawn surfaces. A second drum-shaft, whose axis is disposed at a distance above the first draw shaft equal to the eccentric-radius, is provided.
