Heating water.-In a system for supplying hot water for baths &c., or for heating radiators, a boiler A is connected by a flow pipe B to the middle of an expansion tank C below the ncrmal water level, the tank being provided with a hand-operated relief valve F. The return pipe D supplies the radiators &c. K and is also connected by a pipe J to a float-valve controlled cold water supply tank G. Any discharge from the valve F is received by the tank G.
