266,066. Smith, W. S., and Garnett, H. J. Nov. 20, 1925. Alloys.-Magnetic alloys, particularly suitable for use in the manufacture of telegraph and telephone cables, comprise about 76 and not less than 75 per cent of nickel, about 16 and not more than 18 per cent of iron, about 5 per cent of copper, and a small proportion of manganese, with or without a further element adapted to increase the electric resistance, such as tungsten, chromium, silicon, titanium, or molybdenum.
