Abstract
265,013. Rosser, G. D., and Hadley Co., Ltd. Feb. 12, 1926. Spectacles.-The temple wires for spectacles, having stranded wire wrapped round a central core which is joined to a solid portion in one with the hinge, have the core wire 3 or the whole end of the cable portion 4 of the wire inserted into a closed cavity 2 in the solid end 1. The hole 2 in the solid end may extend entirely through the end. When inserted the two parts are joined by soldering and the solid cylindrical end 5 is worked up by swaging and the joint is hammered down so as to be of nearly uniform cross-section throughout. When the hole is made entirley through the solid end the part not filled by the cable wire is plugged with a solid core. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specification 261,430.
