Regulating; blades. - In order to minimize the eddy losses due to the introduction of an auxiliary fluid supply in a turbine with overload nozzles, the blades of the first rotor disc following the inlet of the auxiliary supply are extended in the radial direction at their inlet edges and are of the same dimensions at their outlet edges as the nozzle blades. The auxiliary fluid enters at the overload nozzle b and strikes on the extended inlet edges of the blades c of the rotor disc d. The outlet edges of these blades are of practically the same radius as the blades e of the nozzle diaphragm f. Instead of bevelling the blades of the rotor, their packing blocks may be bevelled instead.
