Abstract

263,905. Cross, W., (Burson Knitting Co.). Sept. 4, 1925. Stockings. - A s e a m l e s s fashioned stocking is made with longitudinally extending webs 6, 7 of different appearance producing a striped effect, the stripes being arranged to be substantially parallel during wear. The webs 6 are shown in Fig. 4 as consisting of loosely arranged loops, and the webs 7 of tightly arranged loops, the webs being symmetrical about the fashioning line at the centre of the back of the leg, and producing a series of V-shaped formations by widening.
