Force-feed lubricating.-Meshing helical gearwheels enclosed in a casing 1, 2 are lubricated by lubricant drawn from a sump 34 by a toothed pump 45, 46 and circulated through pipes 47, 48 to the gear-wheels. Excess of lubricant drainsthrough holes 49, 50 in the casing to the bottom of the sump.
