Abstract

237,444. Si�, J. S. Sept. 2, 1924. Baths. - A series of spinning or other spindles 5 project into or pass through a common lubricant chamber 2 having inlet and outlet orifices, whereby the spindles are collectively lubricated. The spindles are carried by bearings 3 on a member 1 to which the chamber 2 is attached. The spindles may have their ends journaled in the base of the chamber, or, as shown, thrust bearings 4, having apertures 6 allowing access of lubricant, may be provided. Several such chambers 2 may communicate with each other. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specifications 4494/97, 1958/03, and 7921/04, [all in Class 120, Spinning].
