Abstract
261,389. Holdsworth, H. Nov. 10, 1925, [Convention date]. Dress-suspender grips; clips.-A device for attaching two garments such as stockings and camisoles together, comprises two buttons spaced apart on a base member and engaged by a loop member fitting round the button shanks. The base 10 may be made of elastic material such as lubber or fabric, or may be made of rigid material such as celluloid, wood, or metal. It has two buttons 11 with shanks or recesses round which fit the loops 12 of the spring wire member 13 to grip the garment. The loop member may be detachable, Fig. 1, or it may be secured in the base by the rings 15, Fig. 4, or by the endless band 16 embedded in the base, Fig. 5. The loop member may comprise a pair of halves 12<1>, 12<11> hinged at 17 to the base. Fig. 7. The loop member is made of non-oxidizable metal.
