Cylinder machines; lubricating. - In brick machines of the type comprising an intermittinglyrevolving drum having open-ended moulds, the moulds are lubricated by a pair of spraying jets disposed at one end of the moulds and adapted to cover uniformly the side and bottom walls. As shown, a pair of jets f<1> are disposed within a casing g in such a manner that each spray covers a vertical mould wall j and one half of the bottom j<1>. Lubricant supplied by a pipe a is delivered through a nozzle b and is divided by a knife-edge c into two portions which pass to the jets f<1> through cups d, d<1> and pipes e, e'. Compressed air is supplied from a fan through a pipe to a passage g<1> in the casing g which is preferably adjustably mounted.
