Electrodes.-A plate for secondary batteries comprises a grid casting of 12 per cent antimonial lead, and a paste filling consisting of a mixture of red lead, litharge, iron dust, copper sulphate, and sulphuric acid. The electrolyte used in conjunction with such plates may be that described in Specification 259,099.
