Abstract

260,266. Basista, C. Oct. 20, 1925, [Convention date]. Gauges. - A gauge for measuring type lines comprises a bar 1 having a number of scales representing different founts of type, and a slide 4 having viewing windows 11 for each individual scale, the windows being adapted to be covered by sliding shutters 13. A measuring projection 5 on the slide co-operates with a head 2 on the bar 1. The edges of the slide 4 are bent over the edges of the bar to form guides, and a spring 9 is located between the slide and the bar.
