Abstract

259,500. P÷nisch., M. May 25, 1926. Rolling-machines; stream-cutting machines.-A machine for moulding seamless sweetmeats &c. has grooved cutting and moulding plates or rollers adapted to be moved transversely relative to each other during the forward movement. The two chains of moulding plates 5, 6 are carried on drums 1 - - 4 which are relatively axially moved by a lever 16 plungers 11, 12, and a rod 17 reciprocated by the crank 25, the string of plastic material 8 being moulded and delivered into seamless portions 10. The moulding may be effected by one chain of plates and one roller a large arcshaped surface of contact being, maintained, or two rollers may be used. Axial movement may be given to only one of the moulding chains or rollers.
