Abstract

259,151. Lamplugh, H. A. June 3, 1926. Spring surfaces for seats and seat backs. Bowed blade springs 2 are detachably mounted in a wire frame 1 by their hocked ends 4 to secure the cover; the end springs are held in spaced relation by a longitudinal strut 7. One side 16 of the frame mav be movable, under the thrust of the blade springs, against the action of compression or tension springs 18 or rubber buffers, as shown in Fig. 9. The frame may be detachably secured to its supporting surface by U-shaped spring clips 28, as shown in Fig. 18.
