Bodies.-In motor vehicle bodies in which the frame uprights are connected to the floor by yielding non-metallic material, the uprights are completely insulated from the floor by the non- metallic yielding material which is clamped to the uprights and to the floor. As shown, the uprights f are connected to the sills e by two blocks g of rubber housed in metal housings h situated in recesses a' of the floor boards a at predetermined positions. The rubber blocks are provided with parts g<3> adapted to interpose between the uprights f and the sills e. The sills e are clamped or bolted to the underside of the floor boards a which are rigidly connected to and weave with the chassis members b.
