Abstract

A walking walls bale ejector 1000 comprising a frame 100 with back bars 30,31 and front bars 60,61 forming an interior. The interior comprising a first and second side wall 130,120, a top and bottom wall 110,140. Top wall 110 and first and second walls 130,120 are moveable in relation the frame and the bottom wall 140 is stationary. Ejector 1000 may further comprise a moveable column assembly 20 in mechanical communication with the first wall 130. Column assembly 20 may be in electronic communication with a baler to ensure bale size compatibility. Also a method of transferring a bale though a walking walls bale ejector. Also a walking walls bale ejector 1000 comprising a frame 100 with an interior comprising: a moveable first side wall 130 with a horizontal movement cylinder 150A, where first wall 130 is capable of lateral as well as horizontal movement relative to frame 100; a moveable second side wall 120 with a horizontal movement cylinder 150B; a moveable top wall with horizontal movement cylinder 34; and a stationary bottom floor 140. Preferably simultaneous actuation of the wall movement cylinders 150A,150B,34 horizontally moves a bale. The frame 100 may be attached to a wire tier.

BACKGROUND [0003] This invention relates generally to material balers and in particular to a system and machine ibr allowing: a baler to eject: a bale at full speed and continue baling without time impediment through the use of a walking walls ejector.
SUMMARY [0004} In some embodiments of tile present invention, the walking wails hale: ejefetor comprises one stationary iloor wall, one horizontally and laterally moveable side walk one horizontally moveable side wall as well as an upper horizontally moveable wall.
[0005] In some embodiments of the present invention, during operation, a bale enters the rear of the walking walls bale ejector. The side wall keeps the bale in a compressed position because the adjustable side wall is placed in the correct position to ensure that thd space between the wails in the walking walls bale ejector corresponds to the size of the bale. The upper wall does not move up and down. In several preferred embodiments, the nonadjustabie side wall does not move. Additional cylinders on the side walls and the upper wall can then, advance the bale forward through fhe walking walls bale ejector in a horizontal movement.

Claims What is claimed is the following;

a frame with hack bars and front bars forming an interior comprising:
a moveable first side wall capable of movement in relation to said frame: a moveable second side wall capable of movement in relation to said frame: a mowable top: wall capable of movement in relation to said frame; a bottom fioor which is stationary in relation to said frame.
2. The walking walls bale ejector of Claim 1, wherein said first side walk said second side waO: and said top wall are capable o f horizontal movement away from said frame,
3. The. walking walls bale ejector of Claim 1, wherein said first side walk said second side wall and said top wail are capable of horizontal movement towards said frame,
4. The walking walls bale ejector of Claim I wherein said horizontal movement of said first side wall, said second side wall and said top wall occurs through simultaneous actuation of said first side walk said second side wall and said top wall .
5., The. walking walls bale ejector of Claim 1 further comprising:
a moveable column assembly located in said frame and attached in mechanical communication to said first side walk
6, The walking walls bale ejector of Claim 5 wherein;
said moveable column is attached and in electronic communication with a: baler to ensure bale size compatibility.
7. A walking walls bale ejector of Claim 1 further CGinprlslng: said front: bars are mechanically attached to a wire tier,

said side wall capable of movement in relation to said back bars is actuated by a first horizontal cylinder for horizontal motion;
a second side wall capable of movement in relation to said hack bars is actuated by a second horizontal cylinder for horizontal motion;
a moveable top wall capable of movement in relation to said back bars is actuated by a third horizontal cylinder for horizontal motion,
9, A method for moving a bale through a-walking walls bale ejector comprising: ejecting a bale into a walking: walls bale ejector which comprises.' a frame with an interior comprising;
a moveable first side wall capable of movement in relation io said fume; a moveable second side wall capable of movement in relation to said frame; a: horizontady moveable top wall capable of movement: horizontally in relation to said frame;
a bottom floor which is stationary in relation to said frame; and horizontally moving a bale through actuation of said first side wall, said second side wail and said top wall.
10. The method of Claim 9 further comprising the step of:
providing a walking walls bale ejector which further comprises an adjustable column assembly located in said frame and is attached in mechanical communtcafion to said first side wall.
11. The method of Claim 10 further comprising the step ofi providing a walking walls hale ejector in which said adjustable column is attached and in electronic communication with a baler to ensure bale size compatibility.
12, The method of Claim 9 further comprising the step of:
attaching a wire tier to said front bars of said frame; and wire tying a hale as it exits the walking walls ejector.
13.. A walking walls bale ejector comprising,;
a frame with an interior comprising;
a moveable first side wai with a horizontal first side wall movement cylinder and lateral moveable first side wall, wherein said lateral and horizontal moveable first side wall is capable of movement horizontally and laterally in relation to said frame;
a moveable second side wall with a horizontal second side wall movement cylinder, wherein said horizontal moveable second side wall is capable of'movement horizontally in relation to said frame;
a moveable top wall with a horizontal top wall movement cylinder, wherein said horizontal moveable top wall is capable of movement horizontally in relation to said frame;
and a bottom floor which is stationary in relation to said frame, wherein.
said moveable first side wall with a horizontal first side wall movement cylinder is capable of horizontal and lateral movement when actuated relative to said bottom floor;
said moveable second, side wall with horizontal second side wall movement cylinder is capable of horizontal movement when actuated relative to said bottom floor;
and said moveable top wail with top wall movement cylinder are capable of horizontal movement when actuated relative to said bottom floor.

The walking walls bale ejector of Claim 13 wherein said moveable first side wail with a horizontal first side wal 1 movement cylinder, said second side wail with a horizontal second side wall movement cylinder, and said ton wall with a horizontal top wall movement cylinder is capable of horizontally moving a bale through actuation of said horizontal first side wall cylinder, said horizontal second side wall cylinder and said top wall horizontal movement cylinder.

The walking wails bale ejector of Claim 14 wherein said: horizontal movement of a bale through actuation of said horizontal first side wall movement cylinder, said horizontal second side wall movement cylinder and said top wall, movement piston occurs through simultaneous actuation of said horizontal first side wall movement: cylinder, said horizontal second side wall movement cylinder and said top wall movement cylinder,
16. The walking walls bale ejector of Claim 13 further comprising;
a moveable column assembly located in said frame, wherein said first moveable side wall with a horizontal first side wall movement cylinder is moveable in relation to said frame on said moveable column assembly in said frame.
17. The walking walls bale ejector of Claim 16, wherein said moveable column assembly in said frame is attached and in electronic communication with a baler to ensure bale size compatibility.
18. A walking walls bale ejector of claim 13 further comprising:: said frame further meefeanically attached to a wire tie.
