Abstract

254,283. Drõger, A. B. June 29, 1925, [Convention date]. Respirators. - In respiratory appliances in which the mouth-piece a is supported by straps f, g secured to a headpiece h, the crown k of the head-piece h has secured thereto a guardplate o of leather or other material, the securing means comprising rivets m or sewing, adhesive or other means, and the crown k being stiffened. The guardplate o may be domed as shown and may engage the head along a zone n, or may be shaped to the head and provided with an annular padding member. The zone n may itself be padded. Both the plate o and the head. piece h may be provided with ventilation holes. The Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91 (3) (a) also describes and illustrates an unpadded guard plate shaped to fit the head. This subject-matter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
