Rollers and roller heads.-In drawing-apparatus for spinning-machines of the kind wherein the middle lower roller 2 is provided with two pressing-rollers 5, 6, the rollers are arranged so that the tangents at the nips of the front roller 4 and of the roller 5 coincide or practically coincide, the back pressure roller 7 is vertically above the back roller and the nip is higher than that of the rollers 6, and the lines joining the centres of the rollers 5, 6 to the centre of the roller 2 make equal angles a, a<1> with the vertical. The roller 6 is heavy and may be weighted so as to ensure a delimitation of the preliminary draft and the main draft. The roller 5 is mounted between cheeks 8, 9 of a sheet-iron claw adjustably secured by a screw 12.
